This story was written for the Romance Writers of Australia annual short story compilation Little Gems. It missed out on the cut (top 16) – it came in 16th along with 4 other stories… so only one could be chosen!
I generally don’t write contemporary romance, but this story just worked for me. I love it. And I hope you enjoy it.
